Home Instead Epsom & Mole Valley is in their 14th year and are proud to be recognised as the highest rated ‘outstanding’ care company in Surrey by the Care Quality Commission, as well as voted as one of the top 20 homecare companies they our clients in the whole of the South East of England.

They are on the look out for new carers to join their team, here’s what they say;

We’d rather tell you what you don’t need for this lovely job:

You don’t need to be a master chef, but if you can brew a cuppa that warms the soul, you’re already a hero in our book.

You don’t need to be Sherlock Holmes, but your knack for finding a client’s misplaced glasses will make you feel like a day-saving detective.

You don’t need to waltz like you’re on ‘Strictly,’ but you’ll find joy in the simple pleasure of a spontaneous dance with a client during afternoon tea.

You don’t need to be a runway model, but when you help a client pick out their ‘feel-good’ outfit for the day, you’ll feel like a personal stylist.

You don’t need a GCSE in history; instead, you’ll have the honour of listening first-hand to a lifetime of treasured memories.

You don’t need a uniform. Our visits bring comfort, as if a good friend just walked through the door.

And rushing? Definitely not on our watch. Each visit you make is far more than just ticking off a list of tasks. By the end of the day, you’ll carry that warm, ‘I’ve-really-made-a-difference’ feeling, knowing you’ve been the highlight of someone’s week.

So, what’s truly essential?

Genuine empathy, oodles of patience, and a hearty sense of humour. Your genuine kindness will transform a lonely afternoon into a brighter day for someone who needs it.

Don’t worry if you’ve never done this before—we’ll support you with plenty of training to give you confidence. Plus, with a variety of hours available covering weekdays, evenings, and weekends, we’ll work with you to find a schedule that suits both you and our clients.

Are you ready to start a new career caring for the elderly in our community? then do apply for a role here.

Good Luck!

Dee xx
