Now I can’t say I’m a massive fan of beer, I’m more at home with a glass of Prosecco however I thought it was great that these local pubs made it into the latest fully revised – The Good Beer Guide 2019 (The beer-lovers’ bible of recommended pubs across the UK) that was published this month. As a supporter of all things local I thought it was only right to give them some recognition on Epsom and Ewell Families. So if you are a fan of beer these are the local beer joints you should be visiting according to the guide…
A traditional village pub and garden with a European menu, plus regular jazz sessions and quiz nights.

A great traditional pub situated at the side of a lake and opposite Epsom common.A fantastic place to meet friends for lunch or relax after a long walk.

The Jolly Coopers
The Jolly Coopers is one of Epsom’s oldest pubs & now a family owned freehouse.
In keeping with pub tradition we have 5 real ales, 3 keg beers & 1 keg cider, all of which are from well known breweries or local micro’s & nano’s.

The Rifleman is a traditional community pub, offering a wide range of real ales from Greene King and other micro-breweries from the local area.

The Running Horse
600-year-old inn with real fires, pewter tankards hanging from oak beams and hand-pulled ales.
