WHAT’S ON – OCTOBER HALF TERM @ THE EPSOM PLAYHOUSE…

We recently had an absolute blast at Club 80s: The Ultimate 80s Party held at Epsom Playhouse. My friend and I donned our glitter, scrunchies and as much makeup as we could muster, fully embracing the 80s vibe. We were relieved to see that others had done the same – spandex and glow sticks were aplenty; I was envious of those who had managed go a step further and dig out lurid pink leg warmers with matching bum bags and visors. Seriously, that’s dedication.
What was Club 80s like? The lead singer’s incredible vocal range was nothing short of amazing, hitting every note with ease along with a very tight backing band. Together, they delivered hit after hit, keeping the energy levels high throughout the night. The performers’ impressive choreography and frequent costume changes added even more flair, with outfits just as bold as the 80s hits themselves. Before long, the entire crowd was out of their seats, dancing and singing along to every classic tune. We had a great time and I feel like we are so lucky to have this venue on our doorstep.
