It may not be celebrated by many this week, due to the inclement weather! This week we saw world book day come and go! For ideas for next year check out Tracy’s blog on Last Minute World Book Day costume ideas.
Charity Appeals and Events
Food Bank usage in Surrey has steadily increased in the last five years; and as a result, Food Bank requires more support. They are currently appealing for milk donations. The charity also raises money from fundraising events. They have a Curry Night Fundraiser on the 13th of March.
The Epsom Medical Equipment Fund, who fundraise to purchase equipment that NHS may not be able to afford, have various charity events happening this month. They have a car boot sale, a charity fundraising dinner and a charity barn dance. Have a look at their website to see what is happening.
