Live theatre, car boot sales, treks and trails and 70s disco are just some of the ‘in real life’ things back on the agenda. There are plenty of online activities to keep you busy too.

Here’s a round up of things coming up in and around the area.

2020 The Musical

Featuring a ‘phenomenal West End cast’, 2020 The Musical is an all singing all dancing spectacular taking you through the journey of the year of 2020; telling the story of how the last 12 months have affected the arts and highlighting strength, resilience and community spirit. Book to have a great time and support an industry that has suffered greatly over the last year.

Starting at The Camberley Theatre on Saturday 22nd May (5pm) and at The Leatherhead Theatre, Friday 28th May (7:30pm).

Grow Cook Enjoy

Grow Cook Enjoy is running its Summer Cooking Club (online) for children aged 5-11 years (current term runs now until 25th May; resuming 8th June to 6th July). The theme is alfresco dining. Find out more here.

Surrey Car Boot Sales

Surrey Car Boot sales are back!  The weekly car boots will be held on Priest Hill (Banstead Road, Ewell KT17 3EP) each Saturday until Autumn. The next one is on Saturday, 8th May (7am-2pm weather permitting).

Prices are £1 entry per person, accompanied children under 15 enter for free. More details on their Facebook page.


Taste of the World Market

The usual Friday Taste of the World Markets are taking place on Friday, May 7th , May 15th and May 22nd. Find out more here.

Tiny Treks and Trails 


Visit Godstone Farm and join in with Tiny Treks and Trails, a free interactive story time session for babies and pre-toddlers. The first one – on May 14th – features Oi Frog!.

Pre-book your entrance ticket to the farm and then meet outside the Gift Shop at 11am – 


Round the Borough Bike


It’s not too late to join in the Round the Borough Bike, the popular non-competitive cycle event. You can complete the 20-mile route throughout the month of May and get the chance to explore the beauty of Epsom and Ewell by bike. Read more here: and register here.

Epsom Craft Market

The next Folly Fairs monthly craft and gift market is next at Epsom on Sunday, May 9th (10:30am to 3:30pm). You’ll find an array of handmade products such as soaps, candles, luxury hampers, unique jewellery, glassware, ceramics, art and woodcrafts all made by local people. Go to the Folly Fairs Facebook page for more details.


Wandgas Cricket Courses


“Wandgas Cricket Club are offering 2 highly engaging and entertaining programs for girls and boys aged 5-11.
