Hello lovely Epsom and Ewell families,

I hope that everyone has had a great start to March. We have spent a lot of time baking this month. We have made flapjacks, pancakes (including a pancake cake), brownies, carrot cake and chocolate chip muffins. I had forgotten how much I love baking. Don’t worry, I’m not eating them all. I’ve joined the gym recently and am actually being very healthy for the first time in my life.

We also had a lovely afternoon at the Bourne Hall Herald of Spring last weekend – the boys particularly enjoyed exploring the Bourne Hall gardens, after our look around inside.

If you are looking for something to do over the next fortnight, then have a look at what is happening in and around our area.

I hope that all the mums have a wonderful (and hopefully stress-free) Mother’s Day and that you manage to get a lie in. I am hoping to go to the cinema, as a Mother’s Day treat, but I would like to see one of the films on my list, for a change. Not sure how I am going to get that one right! *fingers crossed*

And if you have a little babe in arms, Odeon has fantastic parent and child screenings of new releases. I remember doing this when my boys were little. I love film… a lot!

Until next month, keep an eye on the Epsom and Ewell Families page and group for updates on what is happening in the next two weeks.  And if you need any local recommendations, then have a look at the Epsom and Ewell families directory. Dee is always updating the website with new businesses – all which have been reference checked by those that have used the service.

Have a great few weeks.
