Happy almost Halloween!

I am really sad to be missing Halloween this year – I have loved dressing up since I was a little girl, and I studied acting, so love any opportunity to change my appearance and have fun!

One of the main reasons that I love Halloween, is that the countdown to Christmas starts after it. I know, I know, it’s still October but I love everything about the next few months. Crisp mornings, frosty leaves, nights in front of the fire, hot chocolate, watching films, twinkling lights, warming Christmas smells, pretty ornaments, mince pies, family, Christmas carols, magic and pure joy. What’s not to love?

But until then, here is what is happening in the area.
