WELLBEING DAYCARE+ specialist dementia care in Epsom & Ewell.

Are you concerned about an elderly relative showing signs of dementia?
If so an amazing facility lies within the Epsom community wellbeing centre.
The Wellbeing Daycare+ Centre focuses on the over 50s who are demonstrating signs of dementia and are in need of assessment and those who would benefit from support by offering a person-centred and tailored approach in regards to day care.

The centre which consists of a highly experienced team of Carers focuses on the individuals ability, needs and what they are interested in.

After an initial Dementia Assessment, which can be requested via self referral or after expressed concerns from a family member/GP the Wellbeing Daycare + team can gauge what the individual client would benefit from within the daycare centre.

Below is a list of what they offer within the centre:
– Tennis therapy
– Memory therapy
– Music therapy
– Stimulating art
– Communication therapy
– Games therapy
– Gentle armchair exercise

The calming and relaxing setting offers a home from home environment for the clients whilst offering respite for the clients carer or family member.

Clients can attend the morning, afternoon or full day sessions at the centre (the frequency and length of visits per week is guided by the Carers)

Wellbeing Daycare+ Centre sessions:
AM sessions: 9.30am-12.30pm £20 (with Lunch £27)
Lunch: 12.30pm-1.30pm
PM sessions: 1.30pm-4.30pm

If you think the centre may help a family member in need then they will need to attend a half day session where an initial assessment will take place.  This will help both client and carer gauge if the centre is for them.
