Epsom Business Social at Epsom Social 

On Thursday, 14th March (7–9pm) Epsom and Ewell Families & Sessami are hosting the Epsom Business Social at the Epsom Social.

Sip and Paint Evening (Craft my Day) 

Want to learn how to paint with a drink in hand and plenty of good banter? Bring your friends, mum or just your beautiful self no matter your skill-level (yes, even if you’ve never touched a paint-brush before). Red Nose Day with NEAT

On Saturday 16th March NEAT are hosting a Red Nose Day fun to help raise money for this great charity, this will be located at their venue (NEAT HQ KT198SB ) join for some fun, with their gaming facilities, arts and crafts, sweet hunts, face paints and outdoor football inflatable, If you have Red please wear it. This is a free event all donations go to charity.

Entry is free, and you can expect to find clothing, shoes, bags, belts, hats, accessories and jewellery.

St Patrick’s Day Ceilidh @ The Horton 

On Saturday, 16th March (from 7.30pm) celebrate St Patrick’s Day with an unforgettable evening of high-energy fun with the glamorous and talented ceilidh band Call Me Ceilidh. Perfect for the beginner or experienced ceilidh dancer.

With traditional Irish and Scottish music, they guarantee to keep you dancing all night. If you’re new to ceilidh, here is how it works:

First of all, the caller explains each dance before you do it and then gives instructions during the dance. Dances are often performed in a ring formation and the live music will keep you moving.

The Horton’s fully-licensed café-bar will be open from 6pm serving meals and drinks. Last orders 11pm. The event is open to adults and young people aged 11+. Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Antiques, Collectables & Decorative Arts Market

This antiques and vintage market is held in Epsom’s market place at various dates throughout the year with the next being on Sunday, 17th March (10am – 4pm). This unique market offers up to 40 antique collectables, vintage, retro, bric a brac and vinyl records stalls plus interesting decorative arts.

Surrey Hills Hike 

The Surrey Hills Hike in aid of The Children’s Trust is taking place on Sunday, 17th March from 9.30am. You can choose from a 5-mile or 10-mile option and they have now introduced a ‘1K Your Way!’ route. This route is fully accessible and suitable for buggies and wheelchairs.

The Surrey Hills Hike is a great opportunity to explore the great outdoors with friends and family and meet new friends along the way. Family-friendly and dog-friendly!

Dealing with Difficult Emotions – Free Workshop 

This very popular FREE parenting workshop is back at Epsom Family Centre on Thursday, 21st March (10.00am-12.00pm).

Does your child get anxious and overwhelmed easily? Do they exhibit angry outbursts and meltdowns? Difficult behaviour is aways led by difficult emotions. This workshop helps to address these emotions and teaches ways to manage and express emotions safely.

Passion Week – Music for Easter from Epsom Chamber Choir

Epsom Chamber Choir’s next concert is on Saturday, 23rd March (7.30pm-9.30pm) at St Martin’s Church Epsom.

Steinberg’s choral concerto Passion Week is the centre piece of the programme with texts taken from the Orthodox Church. Also pieces by Tchaikovsky (music being played) Rutter and Tippett.

Let your little one’s creativity bloom as they create & decorate their Easter Baskets. This will then be used for our eggciting easter egg treasure hunt.  Kids will also have the chance to decorate and colour eggs for our egg and spoon race, we’ve heard adding lightning bolts makes them go faster!

With a map in hand your littles will set off on an exploration of Epsom Social looking for eggs! They will have to use their map to locate the treasure boxed and collect the eggs.

Get ready for the ES egg and spoon race! It’s a classic game where you balance an egg on a spoon and race to the finish line without dropping it! But here’s the twist – you gotta do it without using your hands! That’s right, it’s all about skill, balance, and a whole lot of giggles! So, get ready to hop, skip, and jump your way to victory in this egg-cellent challenge! Who’s ready to take on the egg and spoon race? Let the games begin!

Easter Sunday 31st March

Easter-themed Family Trivia at 1pm, some egg-citing crafts at 3pm and then the return of the ES Silent Disco at 4pm,
complete with bubbles and glow sticks to celebrate the bank holiday weekend.

Hogsmill 5 

The Hogsmill5 returns this year taking place on Sunday 28 April supporting the Epsom & Ewell Foodbank. There will be children’s races before the main event as well as a cake stall throughout with donations going to the charity.

St John’s Craft Group 

Do you feel a little isolated or just fancy a bit of fun and a natter? Maybe you could invite a neighbour along who doesn’t seem to get out and about much?

🧵 We meet in the Parish Room in the Parish Centre, next to ‘The Church by Stoneleigh Station’, on the third Monday of each month between 1oam-12pm.

🪡 Everyone brings their own craft, be it knitting, card making, crochet, sewing, mindful colouring to name a few. With lots of chat and tea and coffee we craft the morning away.

St John’s Tunes’n’Tea

Second Thursday of the month: LIVE MUSIC with Tunes’n’Tea at ‘The Church by Stoneleigh Station’. Come along on your own or bring a friend or neighbour who might welcome a lovely couple of hours of live music, tea, coffee, cakes and conversation.
