☀️The count down to the school summer holidays begins! We’ve got details on plenty of summer camps to book now to keep the kids entertained over the six weeks holiday plus all the info on everything else happening in and around the area this month.

Banstead Rotary Village Fair

It’s the Banstead Rotary Village Fair on Saturday, 1st July (10.30am-3pm). The free event will have lots of local organisations presenting, live music, stalls, sideshows, games, a BBQ and bar and a performance from the Banstead Show Choir.

Stoneleigh Library Lego Club 


Stoneleigh Library’s next Lego club is on Saturday, 1st July (10.30am-11.30am) and this month’s theme is amazing mazes and treasure hunts. Booking essential as places are limited. You can book in person at the library or email:

Dungeons & Dragons – Session Zero @ Ewell Library

Are you looking for a creative outlet? Interested in meeting new people? Do you have a bored teenager at home or perhaps are just looking to rekindle an old hobby?

Ewell Library is running Session Zero of Dungeons & Dragons on Saturday, 1st of July at 12pm; suitable for teenagers (12+) and adults alike.

This session will be used to talk about character creation, and help familiarise you with the game, as well as speak as a group about what kind of adventure you would like to play first.

You may wish to bring a pen/pencil, notebook and some dice. But these can be provided on the day.

Sustainable Epsom and Ewell Eco Fair








The third Sustainable Epsom and Ewell Eco Fair is taking place on Saturday, 1st July (10am-2pm) at St Martin of Tours Church, Epsom.

This event showcases the many ‘green’ local groups, charities and small businesses all working towards a better environment for residents. This is an opportunity to meet like minded people and learn about some of the key environmental issues in our Borough and what to do about them. The event is free for all and will include children’s activities.

There is also a competition for primary school aged children to create a poster or write a poem about pollinators (see poster above).

Ewell Grove Summer Fair 2023

The Ewell Grove School Summer Fair is taking place on Saturday, 1st July (12-3pm).

There’ll be a bouncy castle and Exotic Animal Encounter experience this year, as well as all the usual fun such as face-painting, hair sparkles, glitter tattoos, class stalls, crafts, teacher-run games, a BBQ, plus refreshments and ice cream!

Happy’s Circus at West Ashtead Primary School 


Happy’s Circus is coming to West Ashtead Primary School on Sunday, July 2nd (gates open 11.30am).

Enjoy an amazing 90-minute circus show from world-class performers including professional acrobats, aerialists, magicians and clowns, plus lots of fun surprises.

Epsom Fire Station Open Day 

Calling all residents in Epsom 🚨 Epsom Fire Station is rolling open the shutters for their open day on Saturday July, 8th. 

Head along to the station between midday and 3pm to take a look at the station, watch demonstrations, meet the crews and see our vehicles!

Bourne Hall Museum Kids Club – Victorian Seaside  

The next Bourne Hall Museum Kids Club is on Saturday, July 8th (1pm-2.30pm) and is all about the Victorian Seaside. Head down to discover how the seaside holiday developed in the Victorian era and what it meant for the rich and the working classes.

ATC July Skills Workshops 

ATC is running two skills workshops in July: on Tuesday, 11th July and Tuesday, 18th July (4.30pm-6pm). These are a great opportunity for children to get more time focusing on specific skills. The workshops will consist of lots of drill work and they will also get the chance to practice the full skill supported by a coach.

Places fill up very quickly on these workshops so places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Cuddington Beer Festival 

The 2nd Cuddington Beer Festival is taking place on Friday, 14th July (6pm-10pm) and Saturday, 15th July (12pm-4pm & 6pm-10.30pm).

There’ll be a selection of over 45 ales and 25 ciders to choose from alongside a range of food options on the BBQ. Live music and entertainment will create the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a pint with your family and friends. Plenty of outdoor seating with shelter will be available.

Walton Fire Station Open Day

Music In Nork Park 2023 

This free to attend event (donation on the gates) on Sunday, 16th July is a great music event for all the family to enjoy and raises money for great local causes.

Entrance is from 11.00am with main stage performances starting at 11.30am. There’ll be great acts to enjoy throughout the day, bar, foods stalls, fairground rides and side attractions. Fun for all the family.

The Secret Garden Outdoor Theatre Production  

The Stamford Green PTA are thrilled to announce a summer family event taking place on the school field. On Sunday, 16th July at 4pm an outdoor theatre company called Chapterhouse will perform to families, friends and the local community an adapted production of The Secret Garden.

YMCA Parent Workshop

Baby Sensory provides ideas for creative play, massage, tummy time, movement, visual development, textures, scents and music in simple practical ways that can be easily repeated at home.

A combination of original and traditional songs and rhymes are used to develop early speech and language skills, and sensory signing activities to help you and your baby communicate from birth.

Try-Sport Camps are an ideal introduction to a variety of different sports for children aged 7-14 years old. Cost – Members: £32 / Non-Members: £35 (10% discount will be applied to one booking when two siblings are registered). Non-members are very welcome, and children are encouraged to bring a friend.

Happy Circus at Meadow Primary School 

Meadow PTFA is delighted to announce a brand-new event in its fundraising calendar.

Happy’s Circus will be rolling into town on Thursday, 12th October (5-8pm) and bringing their colourful big top tent to the school field for a fun packed family show.

Each show provides seating for 600 people and is hosted by the Ring Mistress and Clown, introducing acrobats, aerialists, speciality acts, magic and lots of audience participation with loads of fun and much, much more.
