After two years of anticipation, the Epsom Picturehouse finally opened its doors to the public, at the beginning of June. Last night, the Epsom and Ewell Families team attended its gala opening, which included drinks and canapes in the beautiful bar/ cafe area, speeches by the central and local Picturehouse team, and the cutting of the ‘ribbon’ by Epsom’s mayor, Steve Bridger.

The opening ceremony was followed by a special screening of Richard Linklater’s latest film Hit Man. It was a brilliant evening and a lovely reminder of how many local businesses and individuals support the arts in Epsom and Ewell.
