Therapeutic Play Coaching with Bambinos & Me / Therapeutic Play

Children communicate through play — especially when feelings are big or words are hard to find.

I am a Therapeutic Play Coach who supports children’s emotional wellbeing through gentle, creative, and child-led techniques, while also guiding parents with empathy and understanding.

Each session is individual, based on your child’s interests and emotional needs, creating a safe space where they feel understood, valued, and supported.

Some of the activities I might use are art, sensory & messy play, sand play, crafts, lego, games, storytelling, yoga & relaxation techniques.

Therapeutic play uses a child’s natural language — play — to support emotional wellbeing, learning, and development.

It helps children:

– Express feelings safely and reduce anxiety
– Build confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
– Develop social skills like turn-taking, sharing, and communication
– Improve focus, problem-solving, and readiness to learn
– Regulate their bodies through movement and sensory play

Because it feels fun and child-led, therapeutic play helps children feel safe, understood, and empowered while building skills they can use in everyday life.
