Sophie Eastop-Scopes Virtual Assistant / Virtual Assistant

Hi, my name is Sophie and I am a freelance Virtual Assistant (VA); specialising in business administration, social media, marketing, creative design and events organisation. I am predominantly based in Surrey as this is where I have called home all of my life; and where I currently live with my husband and son. Being a mum to a 4 year old boy means I have acquired a love of the outdoors, of all things Thomas the Tank Engine related, and know the names of more dinosaurs than I ever imagined I would. My career as a VA enables me to utilise my skills, experience and qualifications; without sacrificing my relationship with my son.

I have 10+ years experience in customer service and business administration. I have worked closely with start-up and small businesses my whole career and I love seeing how ambition and dreams can become big successes in reality, and am honoured to be a part of the journey.

A little about what I do

A VA is a PA who works remotely on tasks delegated by you. VA’s are not a member of your staff and so you do not have to worry about sick pay, holiday pay or long-term contracts. The tasks you would delegate to me, often don’t tend to warrant hiring a full-time, permanent member of staff; hence the beauty of a VA. There may be a particular area of your business that you find challenging; or one that causes you stress; or simply one that takes up too much of your time. This is where I can offer support. From data entry to social media management; from organising events to conducting market research; I can support your business whilst you develop it further.

  1. “Sophie worked for me for over a year helping to build my social media presence. During that time she carried out research, designed and put together posts and created events for my business.

Sophie is extremely hard working and dedicated. Her business degree adds a level of knowledge that I found invaluable during our time together. She is very supportive and encouraging.

    I would recommend her services.”

  2. “Sophie initiated a wonderful partnership project with Kingston Library, bringing new parents in to see the range of services we provided for them and running a rhyme time and Bookstart pack gifting session for them.

Sophie did all of the publicity and encouraged the families to come along. She also brought activities for the children and information for the adults.

Sophie has great enthusiasm and energy. It was a fantastic partnership project and a great way to reach new families.”

    – Kate Priestley

  3. “Sophie has been an absolute life saver and assisted me greatly with my work. She is friendly, articulate, and her experience shows. On the projects she has worked on for me she has totally exceeded my expectations and provided me with great value for money.

Sophie grasps things quickly and I can tell that through her experience she can get to grips, plan, coordinate and finish a project very quickly. She is very good at getting information from me in one go, which saves a lot of time and regularly reviews the work with me to ensure everything is on track.

Sophie is very approachable and honest in her promises. She offered me great value for money compared to other quotes I had received. I was very impressed by her honesty at the start of our work together where she advised me to opt for a cheaper package as she could do the work needed in less time than I had thought.”
