Selkie Pilates / Pre and Post natal health and wellness

Originally from Aberdeen in Scotland, I have worked as a Midwife in the UK and abroad. My initial role with women and health was teaching Aquanatal classes. Always passionate about health and wellbeing, I then qualified to be a pilates instructor and worked in all of the clubs in the area and up until 2 years ago ran my own Pilates studio in the Ebbisham Centre. Massage for both women and babies followed next as I grew my services to women both pre and postnatally.
I want to educate and empower women to be strong and healthy in their journey to motherhood and as a new parent.
These days it is hard to know where to get good advice and safe exercise when you are pregnant and a new mum.
I offer a unique service to help women navigate all aspects or their Pre and Post natal health and wellness journey. Ideally qualified in both Midwifery and Health and Fitness, my classes include safe exercise, safe preparation for labour and delivery, parent education, support and compassion.
My aim to help you become the best Mum you can be.

“Chloe’s Selkie Pilates classes go above and beyond great pilates, she also shares so much wisdom and advice around pregnancy and the postpartum period too.
Chloe has an amazing ability to make you feel calm, relaxed and prepared for birth, as well as delivering great pilates techniques.
I could not have got through my pregnancy (during a global pandemic) as well as I did without Chloe’s antenatal Pilates classes. Delivered via Zoom while we were unable to attend face to face classes, they were my twice-weekly ritual in preparing for birth and meeting my baby.
Chloe’s friendly and caring manner, made me feel calm and her experience as a midwife meant she was able to share much more than just pilates advice, but really gave honest and helpful advice regarding labour and birth. I can’t thank her enough for her support.”

“Chloe from Selkie Pilates is a beacon of advice, support, guidance and overwhelming encouragement for the pregnant, and postpartum, mother.
She genuinely cares and invests in the women she supports and I am eternally indebted to her for providing continuous and unwavering care, that went well beyond the exercise, in the run up to birthing both my children.
She is a true gem.”
Lucy Seal – Ashtead
“Chloe from Selkie Pilates is very enthusiastic and loves teaching Pilates, she is amazing at it!
I took her Pregnancy Pilates class which was super helpful during my pregnancy for pain and aches on my back and other pregnancy related discomfort. The classes really helped with this pain and prepared my body for birth. At the end I had a very good birth experience which is down to the classes I did with Chloe.
Chloe goes above and beyond helping pregnant women. Not only does she teach amazing classes but she is also really knowledgeable about pregnancy and birth and gives great advice and support to you individually. Her classes are so well taught and she creates a very nice and friendly environment.
I cannot emphasise enough how good my experience was with Selkie Pilates. I would recommend it to everyone. It will help you physically but also mentally to feel good about yourself and your pregnant body.”
