Sam’s Classroom / Education Service

I am a qualified teacher, private tutor and home educator for primary aged children in Tadworth. I have a purpose-built log cabin in my garden and a large outdoor play area.

I tutor 1:1 and in groups after school and weekends, and run home education groups Monday to Wednesday daytimes.

In addition to this, I deliver holiday clubs, Maths and English parent workshops, Neurodivergent parent courses and a newly launched support group for families of neurodivergent children.

My passion is nurturing children in a relaxed, fun environment through games and hands on resources to help them ‘get it’. Building confidence and self-belief is crucial to success.

If my places are full, I have a small team of tutors who I highly recommend!

Feel free to reach out for a chat, to see if I can help you in anyway.

She is a qualified teacher for Early years and has a lot of experience so her 1-2-1 tuition and small groups are of great value and is positively beneficial to the children’s learning.

Sam is a very approachable and patient teacher with a quick understanding of children’s abilities and their limits. She uses positive encouragement in order to progress her tutees with their learning.

  3. “I was very impressed with the tutoring Sam at Sam’s Classroom provided.
She tailored the maths and English sessions to my 10 year old child’s needs and he enjoyed the activities Sam planned. He has ADHD and medical needs and can struggle to maintain attention. Sam made the sessions fun, engaging and planned them around my son’s interests. I was very impressed she managed to keep him on task and engaged.

My youngest son aged 7 also attended maths workshops in her classroom, which he really enjoyed.

Sam is professional, highly experienced and most importantly for the children she makes learning fun.
I would highly recommend Sam’s classroom.”
