My Book Bug / Childrens Books

Hi,

I’m Michelle and I’m a mummy to two gorgeous girls, and an Independent Usborne Organiser based in Surrey. I run my own little pop-up bookshop from home, called My Book Bug!

I sell our beautiful Usborne books at all sorts of events, run home and online parties, and organise fundraisers for schools and nurseries to get them lots of free books! I’m part of a team of like-minded book-lovers, who also run their own businesses from home to fit around family life.

Usborne is a multi-award winning children’s publishing company, founded in 1973, and is now the largest and most successful independent children’s book publisher in the UK. Our books are conceived and created by our writers and design team in our offices in London, and illustrated by artists worldwide. They are instantly recognisable and well loved by children, and also parents who can remember having Usborne books themselves when they were little!

Our books are suitable from 0 – 16 years+ and our range covers activity books, baby and toddler books, early years, fiction, Maths and Science books, reading programmes, sticker books and much more.

Do get in touch if you would like me at an event, or would like some more information about the opportunity of having your own Usborne business, or of course if you would like some books! The whole Usborne catalogue is on my website, and I have regular sales and special offers on my facebook page. I can help you to find exactly the right books for your children, and offer free delivery within 5 miles of KT3.

  1. “Michelle provided me with a book party at my home for my guests to peruse at their own leisure. She also ran a book stall at our Scout Summer Fair. Her service was free! She has a great variety of books for children, which are good value and reasonably priced.

Michelle was friendly and recommended products without being pushy. She read the atmosphere of the house party well and my guests felt comfortable with her in my home. She arrived promptly and set up her “pop up shop” efficiently and the end result was appeasing to the eye. I would say the service is friendly, colourful, approachable, varied, and reliable and it’s great Michelle will do special charity events to raise awareness and money for charity.”

  3. “My Book Bug is always a fast and reliable service, great choice of books for all ages, love the books and illustrations, and the way they make learning fun. I like the fact they have good offers on during the sale periods and the books are delivered to my door.

I recommend this service for choice, the books are good for learning, good fun, look good, tell great stories and are really well designed. Very reliable service too and it helps that Michelle is really lovely to deal with too.”
