Kindie Joe’s / Childcare

The Kindergarten at St Joseph’s offers care and playful opportunities to children aged 2½years to 11 Years Old.

We have two families within The Kindergarten at St Joseph’s.

Our out of school known as D2D offers breakfast club and after school club to the children attending St. Joseph’s Catholic primary school.

Our preschool is affectionately known as Kindiejoes and operates Monday – Friday 8:40-15:10.

Whether you attend Kindiejoes or D2D we want children to use their natural inquisitiveness to explore and find out more about the world around them.  We want them to feel safe and know they are valued for their individualness.

We have a staff team who are mostly qualified and who keep those qualifications up to date.  Their enthusiasm can be seen in their engagement with the children throughout the session.

We consider our environment to be important to the children’s enjoyment in being with us.  Our playrooms are large and light and we have two outdoor areas that give alternatives spaces to play in.  The space indoors and outside inspires the children to explore. Toys and resources stimulate interest for the huge age range that attend on a daily basis.

We aim for fun whether a child attending or a member of staff working.

  1. “Kindie Joes have been fantastic in providing my sons with a safe, secure environment that they have thrived in, making the transition to school seamless.

There’s lots of different options, whether you want just mornings or afternoons, full school day or all day. There are also school dinners provided for a small extra fee.

The emphasis has been on learning through play so the children feel under no pressure at all. The classes are full of fun and laughter and the team are super friendly.”

  3. “Kindie Joes have provided care for my eldest daughter and are now providing care for my 3 year old. They love their time spent there with all of the friendly staff.

They provide lots of fun activities for the children to do. The voluntary fee on top of government funded hours enables them to ensure the children have enough supplies.

I would recommend Kindie Joes as the staff are so kind and caring, always smiling faces and warm welcomes. They ensure the children take part in educational yet fun activities and then blog it on their app for each child’s parents which is lovely to see.”
