  1. “Jess and her team provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere to enjoy great coffee, treats (some lovely, unusual cakes!) and super lunches!

It has a different feel to your bog-standard chain coffee shop, with staff who make the effort to chat with those who want that interaction. As well as the sorts of things you’d expect to see on the menu, there is also a selection of food that really makes it stand out from the crowd.

The coffee shop is child friendly with a nice little play area for the kids. I have also been fortunate to have hosted an event at Jess and the Beanstalk, and Jess and her team made me feel welcome, and helped me promote my event to a suitable audience.

Jess is keen to engage with the local community and often has things going on there, so it’s really worth keeping an eye on her offerings!”

  2. “I have visited Jess and The Beanstalk on numerous occasions to meet with clients, friends or just to complete work by myself. Jess and her team have always made me and whomever I’m with feel welcome and they are extremely accommodating. They have a free wifi code for customers so I am able to do my work and, due to the nature of my business, I can go online and show my clients examples.

The food and beverages are great with a lovely selection to choose from. The service is quick and efficient but that doesn’t take away from the quality of the food and it is great value for money.

I particularly like that they cater for all types of customers. They have a closed off play area for children so parents can come and they have work spaces that are ideal for client meetings as well as individual work spaces.

Overall this is a great place to come for whatever your needs; is good value for money and has a great ambience.”

  3. “My daughter loves this cafe and the little play area is a real hit.

It’s great that I can give my daughter good quality, organic food as an after-school treat.

The people there are really friendly and the parking is free too.”
