Wellbeing Daycare+

Our professional adult day care service, Wellbeing Daycare+, offers a unique home from home environment and specialises in supporting people with memory loss, confusion and early onset dementia. Wellbeing Daycare+ is ideal for anyone who needs a little extra support – this could be someone who has recently suffered a stroke, is physically frail, or has Parkinson’s.

We provide:

  • Full or half-day adult day care
  • Person-centred care
  • Memory therapy
  • Pet therapy
  • Music therapy
  • Arts, crafts and games
  • Gentle armchair-based exercises

The service also provides much needed respite for carers themselves, who can feel safe in the knowledge that their loved one is being looked after in a warm, friendly environment. As well as a dynamic social and cognitive therapy programme, we help growing individual confidence and finding a pathway into appropriate assessment and support services.

Wellbeing Daycare+ is open Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm. The centre is located just outside Epsom Town Centre and served by local buses. The 418 (Kingston-Epsom) stops in Longmead Road and E16 (Stoneleigh Circular) stops in Hollymoor Lane.

  1. “The service has provided a safe, informed and caring environment for my wife and reassurance for me as her carer. The charge / fee for this service is reasonable for me for the time and reliability given.

The manager and assistants are very friendly and understanding of the members medical conditions, and show good patience with the requirements of members. My wife has found the the activities encouraging and reassuring.”

  2. “My mother attending the centre gives me 3 hours a week respite knowing she is in a safe place with very kind and caring staff, especially the manager. During the sessions she (My mother) enjoys the activities which helps her mentally and physically. This is a great service, as being a carer it’s invaluable for my own wellbeing to know that my mother is so well cared for and having a good time.

From her first visit my mother was made to feel welcome by the staff.(from the first time she met the staff.) She has a sense of belonging to the centre’s community which (when she has only lived with me for 18 months )after living for 86 years in the Welsh valleys really matters.”

  3. “The Community and Wellbeing support has provided my sister with appropriate stimulation and social involvement through the activities offered by the Day Care + Centre. A well organised programme of activities scheduled for an entire morning or afternoon which is helpful to the client and the carer. Supported by a good transport arrangement.

It is a very friendly and welcoming environment that has made a real difference, Also the fact that a particular staff member oversees each session (in addition to the dedicated activity leader) has been particularly reassuring.

Very satisfied from the onset with this friendly and caring service, this is a valuable service the hopefully will continue to be offered.”
