Bushido Warriors / Karate

Hi,

I’m Spencer, I run Bushido Warriors in Epsom I have been teaching for 20 years and I am a former Police Conflict Trainer.

Junior Karate should above all be fun.  This is not a view shared by all instructors but it is the essence of our Club. Of course the student will be required to train hard and work towards their gradings but they should not be forced to train, they should want to! Our junior Karate lessons teach discipline, respect, confidence and control, improve co-ordination and help to prepare our students for challenges in life.

We welcome students from the age of 5 upwards .If you would like your child to try a class please call to check availability as classes are filling up fast!

Classes are at Christchurch Scout Hall, Christchurch Road, Epsom, KT19 8NE on:

Tuesday class, 5.30 – 6.30pm
Tuesdays 6.30pm – 8pm
Thursdays 5.30pm – 6.30pm

We also run Adult Self Defence classes for more information please get in touch

  1. “The lessons with Bushido Warriors are very good and structured and my children get out of it what I would expect and more. I love the fact that my children are being really well trained physically as well as being taught discipline.

Bushido Warrior lessons are reliable, safe and fun.”

  2. “Bushido Warrior has met our requirements brilliantly! I approached Spencer when my boys were 4 and 7 yrs Old with the request that the older one needs confidence and the younger one needs taming! My older one is still training at Bushido, he has just turned 16. My younger one trained until he was about 11 when other interests took over. They learn discipline, respect and amazing fitness. Spencer is a great role model.

They train for an hour and a half and can train up to 3 times a week at senior grade. I’ve always felt the price Spencer charges is spot on. As I mentioned before the discipline, respect for themselves and each other and the all round fitness they achieve from trainer at Bushido Warriors.

I’ve loved being part of the Bushido Warriors club for the last 9 years! Spencer recently ran a self defence course for Mums and friends of Mums at the club as well as a few teenage girls who don’t train at Bushido. I attended the last 5 week course and learnt so many fantastic tips. I would highly recommend this course too.

  3. “Bushido Warriors has been a martial arts group for my children that would not only teach them how to defend themselves if necessary, but also teach them to appreciate and understand the respect and discipline that is required for martial arts. The lessons costs are extremely reasonable for the length of lesson. All of the instructors are obviously teaching because of their passion for Martial Arts rather than just because they want to make money.

I’ve been very impressed with the instructors professionalism. The children are always happy to go to their lessons. The instructors are great with children of all ages. A fabulous class that is run by exceptional instructors. It teaches children to defend themselves yet have respect and discipline when necessary, I feel this is an important life skill.”
