Bake 88 / Micro-bakery
Hello, I’m Charlotte and Bake 88 is my micro bakery in the heart of Epsom. My speciality is sourdough New York bagels, artisan breads, cakes and pastries. I offer good bread that’s good for you – using only organic flour, wild or fresh yeast, salt, water and time, no additives, preservatives or chemicals are ever added. I’m part of the Bread Angels network and have Patisserie training at Leiths. Let me take the hardship of making your own bread out of your hands!
I often bake breads from around the world which is a particular highlight with my customers. I get inspiration from many places as a foodie, an avid traveller and having lived overseas in Seattle and Hong Kong. For example, I used to love visiting the neighbourhood bagel shop in Seattle but couldn’t find the same quality of bagel when we moved to the UK, and after a holiday in Spain, I’ve added a local speciality bread to my menu called Pan Gallego. So you could say Bake 88 is borne out of a hobby that I love and it’s one which I am eager to share with the local community.
Ordering is easy directly from my website and collection is on Fridays at my house, a 5 minute walk from the town centre, or delivery on request. I also cater for parties, BBQ’s, Christmas and family gatherings.
