STRONGER BODIES EPSOM BOOTCAMP #REVIEW…

Last Saturday morning my choices of things to do were bootcamp or tidying the house, I chose bootcamp and I’m so glad I did as it was a great motivating way to start the day. I had been meaning to attend one of the Stronger Bodies Bootcamps for a while but a broken ankle had thrown a spanner in the works. Anyway when I arrived I was greeted with a welcoming smile from Stronger Bodies owner Ghazal, who asked me about my injury and told me to take the session at my own pace and to stop at any point if I needed to. Ghazal then explained how the session would go, it would be a series of different exercise stations which you would do for 1 minute with a 10 second rest before moving to the next and we would do 5 rounds of this.
Before the session started we warmed up with a short run around the park and then we got stuck in, this sessions exercise consisted of :
– Battle rope
– kB swing
– Dog bird
– Skipping rope
– Russian twist
– Slam ball
– Vipr Squat
– Lateral raise
The fact that you had 1 minute at each station with a 10 second rest in-between made it all feel achievable even though it was hard work. Ghazal was extremely encouraging, gentle but firm in her approach to training and everyone else that attended was smily and friendly which makes all the difference when attending somewhere for the first time.. I’m so happy I attended, it’s made me realise that I can go back to training and pushing myself more in order to reach my fitness goals.
