STAY POSITIVE – FACE BEHIND THE BUSINESS, TIBA AL-KHALIDY

⭐️ Tell us a bit about you and your business?
Hi, I’m Tiba Al-Khalidy and I am a mother, wife, and international business coach based in #Epsom; helping entrepreneurs and small business owners find clarity, direction and give them the tools to grow.
I was born in Iraq and spent most of my childhood and teen years full of fear and uncertainty about what tomorrow would bring. Raised in a war and under a dictatorship, I fled the country and was granted another life in the UK. I still remember the distinct, remarkable moment when I was truly safe for the first time. It was a feeling unlike any other.
In my new life, I was able to pursue an education, and have an Honour Degree in Accountancy & Business Studies; the start of my journey to becoming a Business Coach supporting clients to financial and personal success and freedom.
Being a mother has proven to be the best adventure of my life as I look to encourage and support other mothers find the same business peace that I have in my own career. I am blessed and proud to have raised two children and a dog; and to have a wonderfully supportive husband.
I am just a normal human being who loves life, and longs to share that with others.
⭐️ What’s changed for your business since the outbreak of Covid-19?
I have been open throughout the pandemic; supporting existing and new clients tackle the challenges that come with being isolated, having businesses paused and financial struggles. I am so proud of my clients and how they are handling such a challenging time – many who have seen financial increases due to making amazing business changes!
⭐️ What are you looking forward to when lock down is over?
I am very much looking forward to seeing my clients and team in person again. Whilst I love cooking I cannot wait to visit some of my favourite restaurants with my family and get back to experiencing the world in all its depth.
⭐️ Lastly what’s your positive message to help others through this?
Give yourself time and understanding and be sure to celebrate your wins. Your wins could be huge personal and professional highlights, but they can also be small, personal wins that are still worth celebrating! I personally spend 5 minutes each day being grateful for the wins I have achieved that day and would recommend this to everyone.
