STAY POSITIVE – FACE BEHIND THE BUSINESS, MONKEY MUSIC EPSOM, LEATHERHEAD & DORKING

⭐️ Tell us a bit about you and your business?

Monkey Music Epsom, Leatherhead & Dorkingprovide award winning music classes for babies and children 3mths-4yrs. Classes are age specific, interactive and lots of fun!

⭐️ What’s changed for your business since the outbreak of Covid-19?

We had to stop all our face to face teaching with immediate effect. We really didn’t want the children to miss out on their weekly classes – and all the learning opportunities they bring, so have taken classes online with Monkey Music at Home. Although this has proved a challenge with 5 teachers filming from home whilst juggling children and home schooling (!)we have received amazing feedback. The children have responded so well and the high standard of our classes really shines through. Obviously the children are very little, so we ask for the grownups to take the Monkey Music teacher’s lead and really get involved, to ensure the children get full learning from our classes. We pre-record so have great sound quality, and you can pause and repeat parts of the lessons. Also classes are available to watch all week – so children benefit from even more musical time with Monkey and Mo!

⭐️ What are you looking forward to when lock down is over?

Nothing can replace seeing little ones hit various milestones in class. I can’t wait to see everyone again and to see how much they have all grown!

⭐️ Lastly what’s your positive message to help others through this?

In this busy world where we all rush around – to have an opportunity to stop and be present is a gift. Enjoy the little things like watching a bird in the sky or singing a song with your little ones – and watching and relishing them as they grow.
