START THE FESTIVE SEASON @ BOURNE HALL, EWELL…

The festive season is officially on its way, and Bourne Hall is getting ready to kick things off in sparkling style! The Christmas Lights Switch-On is back on Saturday 29th November, running from 4pm to 7.30pm, and it promises to be a truly magical evening for families across Epsom and Ewell.

Best of all? It’s completely FREE to attend.

What to Expect

Bourne Hall has put together a fun-filled line-up to get everyone in the Christmas spirit. Here’s a little taster:

Live Music & Performances

The main stage will be buzzing with talent as local musicians and dance schools take to the spotlight. And keep your eyes peeled — Santa himself will be stopping by, along with the cast of this year’s Epsom Playhouse pantomime, Aladdin. Expect festive tunes, big smiles, and plenty of feel-good vibes.

️ Market & Craft Stalls

If you love a browse (and who doesn’t?), you’ll find a wonderful selection of stalls selling handmade crafts, unique gifts, and festive goodies. It’s the perfect chance to tick a few things off your Christmas list.

Seasonal Food & Treats

The Flying Saucer Café will be serving up warming snacks and comforting treats throughout the evening. Think hot bites, sweet goodies, and delicious festive flavours to keep you cosy.

Santa’s Grotto Grand Opening

A big moment for little ones – Santa’s Grotto will officially open during the event. Children can meet Father Christmas and soak up the magic of the season in this beautifully festive setting.

Entry: £1.00 per person (card payment only, payable at the door) due to the high footfall on this date, there is no pre booking option available, they will operate a first come first serve basis during the two time slots.

If you’d like to visit after Saturday 29 November, you can prebook a visit to Santa on Saturday 6, 13 and 20 December for £1 using the booking links on the ‘upcoming events’ section of our website.

Browse the festive scenery during the week free of charge. Take festive photos, soak in the decorations, and write a letter to Santa to post straight to the North Pole!

✨ The Big Switch-On Moment

Make sure you’re there for 5.15pm, when The Deputy Mayor of Epsom & Ewell, alongside Santa and a host of festive characters, will light up Bourne Hall with a dazzling display of Christmas lights to mark the start of the Christmas season in Ewell.

Ewell Yule

Other festivities coming up in Ewell include the annual Ewell Yule on Friday 5th December 4pm – 6pm, there will be market stalls, Childrens rides, late night shopping, festive food and drink and entertainment. More information can be found on the website here.
