SCHOOL HOLIDAY VISIT TO CHOBHAM ADVENTURE FARM
Posted by Devenia Besant on 19 Feb 2019
Having made plans to meet with my friend Emma and her 10 year old twins with my youngest two, my 11 year old daughter and 6 year old son, we decided to meet at Chobham Adventure Farm (a 45 minute drive from Epsom). This was our third time going since it opened and all the kids had lots of fun.
Entry is reasonable they charge:
£2.50 for ages 6 months – 2 years old
£6.50 for ages 3 years old – 18 years old
£4.00 for ages 18 years old +
£3.00 for OAPs
Babies, Nannies and Childminders are FREE (terms & conditions apply)
Inside there is a small soft play area for little ones. With a choice of 3 large indoor slides (some steeper than others for the daredevils out there, my 2 enjoyed them all), there’s also climbing, swing ropes and bridges for bigger ones (even adults…not for me or Emma though!!! ) .
Outside there is a sandpit with slides, bouncing pillows, and a small and large play frame with zipwires and as the sun was shining we did spend some time out there.
Back inside it has a large canteen serving hot meals including pasta, sausage and mash, breaded chicken and sweet potato fries, curry and rice and more. There’s also a selection of cold food such as sandwiches, salads, picnic boxes and for anyone with a sweet tooth (me!) there is a selection of cakes, sweet treats and hot / cold drinks. For those that want to come prepared (this is hardly ever me!) there are a number of picnic benches outside with and without shade.
We had a good time there and I would definitely recommend for a couple of hours or even for a whole day, especially on a nice day. I would add though to avoid disappointment for farm animal lovers that although it is called Chobham Adventure Farm there currently isn’t any farm animals – the website does say this is coming soon. Another thing I would add is beware of the gift shop as you leave, lot’s of great things to buy! 🙂
