SATISFIED EYE INTERNATIONAL EYE FILM FESTIVAL IS BACK…
Posted by Kalli Pasqualucci on 20 Jul 2024
As much as I love the chilled vibe of the new Picturehouse’s restaurant/ cafe area, and the fantastic films they show; the main reason I’m excited about Picturehouse is that Satisfied Eye International Film Festival (SEIFF) finally has a home.
SEIFF 2024 is launching next weekend, from the 26th to the 28th of July, with a Best of Fest event.
Our Best of Fest showcases the very best films from all of our festivals since we launched in 2018. From shorts to documentaries, and animation, there’s guaranteed to be something for everyone.
We have films from 22 countries, including a whole section dedicated to the Best of British films.
And a fantastic Kid’s Animation screening on Saturday morning. We have Oscar winners, Sundance favourites and emerging filmmakers who are just starting their filmmaking journeys.
We are also joining forces with Go Epsom, Epsom Square and Epsom Social for a weekend celebrating film.
Pop down to Epsom Social on Friday evening for the launch of Satisfied Eye IFF, and then join us at Picturehouse for the ever-popular People’s Choice. The weekend events include the opportunity to meet Spiderman, Bob the Minion and Optimus Prime, and there will be other fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.
If you’re not around, don’t worry, you can still be involved in the Epsom and Ewell’s film scene by joining our monthly Film Club, which will be starting in September, our filmmaking events and there will also be an exciting opportunity to be involved in a web series that will be filmed in Epsom.
Sign up for our mailing list or follow us on Facebook or Instagram to keep up with our plans.
Book your tickets for SEIFF 2024 at www.picturehouses.com/seiff, via the Picturehouse app or by visiting Picturehouse Epsom.
SEIFF 2024 is:
- At Epsom Picturehouse, Derby Square
- Friday 26th July to Sunday 28th July
Looking forward to seeing you next weekend,
Kalli x
