This year marks the 52nd anniversary of Pride.  Pride is a celebration which educates all and connects the LGTBQ+ community and allies together as one.

For years LGTBQ+ communities have fallen victim of discrimination and abuse and for many homophobia is still an ignorant barrier that they continue to overcome.

For this reason Pride is not only a celebration of LGTBQ+ rights but also remains a protest to liberate and continue to fight for LGTBQ+ equality throughout the world.

Last year due to the Pandemic Surrey Pride 2020 was cancelled however this year it is back with a bang.

Surrey County Council are proud to be sponsoring Surrey Pride 2021 which will be held on Saturday 25th September in the beautiful Surrey town of Godalming.

An event for the whole family, Surrey Pride 2021 will kick off with a Pride Parade through Godalming followed by the event which will be held across two fields starting at 11am:

Main Field:
Phillips Memorial Park
Hosting a variety of big live acts on the main stage.

Rainbow Field:
Burys Field
Hosting local acts on the community stage
Food and drink stalls
Market stalls

A chill out zone and a youth zone including activities for all the family.

Even though it is a free event, Surrey County Council and Pride in Surrey encourages a donation of £1 when downloading your entry pass.Your donation will help contribute to many of the local LGTBQ++ community services in and around Surrey.

“It was an amazing turnout! It was well organised considering that attendance must have well exceeded expectations, looking forward to even more stalls/booths next year! Especially booths to get drinks from 😋
Very family friendly and lovely atmosphere, already looking forward to next years 🥰🏳️‍🌈
