ONE LOVE #REVIEW…

As soon as I saw the trailer for this I knew I wanted to see it and I wanted to see it the day it came out. I love Bob Marley, his presence and his music and like most grew up hearing his songs. Even if you are not a fan I think you would struggle to say you didn’t know one of his hits!!!!

I absolutely loved the film, it did a fantastic job of spotlighting how Bob wanted his music to impact the world, the message of PEACE, LOVE and UNITY is strong throughout. British actors Kingsley Ben Air and Lashana Lynch did a great job of portraying both Bob and Rita, the mannerisms and strong Jamaican accents made the characters believable, they actually nailed it. For some though I’m sure some of the dialogue may be hard to understand.

The film was a great way to show just how much he achieved in his short life and how he wanted his music to impact peace in the world. A bit woo woo for some but it feels like he was sent into the world for this reason, to spread love and positivity.

I’ll finish up by saying there were definitely certain areas missed in the film and it did end in my husbands words quite “abruptly” however I definitely recommend you go and see it you won’t be disappointed.
