NEW TO EPSOM THIS HALLOWEEN – MALICE IN LAVENDER…

Earlier this year Mayfield Lavender launched their Secret Garden at their sister site in Epsom, and it has quickly become a wonderful addition to the already much loved Glasshouse Café. Over the summer months, the garden has welcomed countless visitors, who’ve enjoyed exploring the lavender, relaxing with coffee and cake or their own picnics, and soaking up the tranquil Lavender setting.

With the lavender season now closed the team are now busy adding something brand new for families to enjoy. New for 2025, “Malice in Lavenderland” will run throughout the month of October – bringing a fun, spooky twist to the Secret Garden and creating the perfect autumn adventure for all ages.

From 4th to 31st October 2025 Mayfield’s Secret Lavender Garden transforms into a delightful “Wonder-land” with a twist – Malice in Lavenderland. This seasonal event combines pumpkin picking, riddles, and spine-tingling fun, promising an unforgettable autumn outing for families.

What’s Included @ Malice in Lavenderland:

  • Entry to the Secret Lavender Garden – which will be full of autumn charm.

  • Pumpkin Patch – choose your ideal pumpkin (sold separately) for some at home Halloween craft fun and maybe some pumpkin soup making?!!!

  • Activity Trail – follow the mischievous White Rabbit through 15 enchanting trail stations hidden throughout the garden. Solve riddles, gather clues, collect hidden letters, and unscramble them to reveal a secret word and claim a prize. From haunted mirrors to ghostly tea parties and cryptic decor, the trail is set to be full of wonder, mischief, with super photo opportunities to capture plenty of Halloween family memories.

When & Where:

Dates: 4th to 31st October 2025
Arrival Slots: 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm (last entry). Garden stays open until 4 pm, so families can linger as long as they wish.
Location: Mayfield’s Secret Lavender Garden, 139 Reigate Road, Epsom, KT17 3DW

Tickets:

  • £5 per person (ages 4+)

  • Free entry for children under 4

  • Ticket includes garden access, pumpkin patch, and the trail (but pumpkins are to be purchased separately).
