NEEDLES & HEALING: MY FIRST VISIT TO THE BODY FIX CLINIC WITH SINSOOK #REVIEW…

Posted by Jack Percival on 06 Oct 2025

After countless miles of walking and running often in less than ideal footwear my knees were starting to feel the strain. So, I more than happy to take the opportunity  to try something new and booked my first acupuncture session with the incredible Sinsook at The BodyFix Clinic in Stoneleigh.

From the moment I arrived, Sinsook made me feel completely at ease. She took the time to talk me through the entire process, explaining what she’d be focusing on and how acupuncture could help not only my knee pain but also my overall well being.

During the session, she worked on my knees and even included some acupuncture points for the mind, which left me feeling surprisingly relaxed and centered. What struck me the most was her mastery of the craft every movement and adjustment was precise, professional, and incredibly effective.

I’ll admit, I expected the needles to be uncomfortable, maybe even painful, but I was pleasantly surprised. The experience was far gentler than I imagined, and honestly, it was quite enjoyable.

Leaving the session, I felt lighter, both physically and mentally, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. If you’ve been considering acupuncture, I can’t recommend Sinsook and The BodyFix Clinic enough she truly is amazing at what she does.

Hi, I’m Jack. I live in Epsom, a place that means a lot to me because of its strong sense of community and the good people who call it home. I’m a hyperactive people lover at heart, connection drives me, and I’ve always felt called to walk alongside others through their struggles. I’ve spent many years working with the homeless community and supporting people affected by addiction. That work changed me. It opened my heart, deepened my empathy, and showed me the power of simply being there for someone. I’m also a passionate advocate for men’s mental health. I believe we need spaces where men can speak honestly, feel safe, and be seen without shame. In my full-time role, I work in the golf industry but my purpose goes beyond the day job. My real passion lies in people, in stories, and in helping break the silence around struggle. We all need each other more than we think.
