Myself and my two boys, Harry and Elliott (ages 8 & 4 years) had the absolute pleasure of coming to see Moonfall at the stunning Horton Arts Centre in Epsom.

The beautiful festive production by Hikapee who also created The Elf Factory is an enchanting story about two mischievous siblings who like most siblings enjoy teasing and fighting with each other.  This of course doesn’t change at Christmas time where the siblings end up fighting over their Christmas presents.  To the point that sister Amaya disappears for an adventure to the moon.

Moonfall is a magical and enchanting story-telling performance which is completely non-verbal and consists of two amazingly talented acrobatic performers who expertly use rope, a hoop and expression to tell a wonderful festive story about sibling love and rivalry.

The set was beautifully adorned with stars, fairy lights and moon dust with atmospheric lighting and a lovely soundtrack to accompany the narrative.  Younger children are encouraged to sit on the cushions on the floor to help them feel part of the production emphasising the intimate setting of the venue.

Moonfall really is suitable for most ages, the aerial circus movement of the 2 person production really is spectacular and leaves you beyond mesmerised.

A definite must see for all families this Christmas! If this doesn’t get you in the Christmas mood nothing will!

Moonfall is suitable for children 3 years plus.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
