Posted by Devenia Besant on 01 Aug 2024

We are now full swing into the holidays and there are so many extra expenses with activities, days out and more and for some this really does create more financial pressure.  Thankfully there are many local initiatives in the area that are putting on clubs or help in some way when it comes to feeding the family, those include:

Foods4Kids @ St Mary’s Ewell

During the school holidays St Mary’s church will be offering free meals to any child in need. Pre- packed, pre-cooked takeaway and heat at home food (may contain nuts and other allergens)

If you would like free meals for your child during the holidays please contact Fr Mark or Lucy on 020 8393 1297 or email to vicar@stmarysewell.com.

TLG Make Lunch Club @ St Barnabus

St Barnabas Epsom is running a Make Lunch Club over the summer holidays, providing a free meal for all the family alongside activities and support. You’ll meet a friendly team of volunteers, who are all safely recruited, and happy to make sure that there’s plenty of food and fun activities to go around.

It’s running on August 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th from 11.30am – 1.15pm.

The sessions are free of charge. You can sign up using this link: https://www.stbarnabas-epsom.org.uk/makelunch
