LOCAL FOOTBALL CLUBS IN EPSOM, EWELL AND SURROUNDS…

Local football clubs play a vital part within our communities, it is without doubt that engaging in team sports such as football has not only a positive physical impact on the participants but also a great mental and social benefit to the players and their team mates.

According to statistics published by statista there has been a positive increase in football participation amongst children between 2022-23.  The need to be engaging in outdoor teamsports has been made prominent post covid with increased participation demonstrating this.

With that in mind I have devised a list of some of our community football clubs in the area:

AFC EWELL YOUTH

A chartered standard club by the Surrey FA run as a community club by volunteers
Weekly training sessions are held by FA accredited coaches.

ASHTEAD FC
Ashtead FC (boys and girls teams collectively) has been recently awarded by the FA as a Chartered Standard Community Club. This is the highest accolade for a grassroots club.
Founded in 1894, they welcome girls from reception age to join with a view for them to progress to the women’s team, Ashtead FC (Fillies)

BANSTEAD VILLAGE FC

U11-14 boys
Established in 2014 by a group of parents, Banstead Village FC has grown each season.
Affiliated with the Surrey FA and England FA Banstead Village FC is a great nurturing environment for coaches, players and volunteers alike.

Ages: Mini Soccer
U7-15 boys and girls
A community run club affiliated with the FA founded in 1992 and run purely by volunteers. Training takes place at Blenheim High School.

Roll With It offer development sessions for boys and girls which are designed to give players the opportunity to play weekly as well as developing their skill.
The sessions include:

Small sided games

The sessions are ideally aimed at players who wish to progress with their footballing skills and techniques.

NEAT FOOTBALL


The Neat football club offers boys and girls a chance to express themselves.
Playing football with freedom whilst learning new skills and techniques.
Players can enjoy football through smaller side games and mini tournaments alongside their fellow players.
Neat work with up to 3000 players a week offering 1-1 coaching as well as matches and tournaments.
