We are looking for a new practice manager who can help with the smooth running of the clinic, providing excellent customer service and an outstanding patient journey. This role would also involve assisting with treatment coordination.

You will be responsible for:

· Diary management

o Recalls

o DNA systems

o Cancellation systems

o Correct bookings / zones

· New patient tracking

· Following up systems for outstanding treatment

· Recruitment – advertising and stage one interviews for all team members clinical and non clinical including hygienists and dentists

· Induction and staff training for new front desk team members and dental nurses

· Appraisals for nurses and front desk staff

· BTW interviews for nurses and front desk staff

· Capability meetings with the nurses and front desk staff – stage one

· One 2 one meetings with the nurses and front desk staff

· Repairs and maintenance contracts

· Computer security / upgrades

· Practice security

· Practice emails

· Organising practice visits e.g. reps

· Rotas

· Staff wages

· Stock management

· Manage invoice payments

· Holiday requests for the entire practice

· Creation and updates for clinical and non clinical practice systems

· CQC management through CODE including training for the team and monthly audits

· Scheduling all team training dates in the calendar and liaising with the providers, scheduling all events for the team e.g. Xmas meal.

· Patient complaints

· Monitoring and checking of staff daily duties e.g. NP phone call systems, NP exam system, membership applications, decom, stock of surgeries.

· Monthly reporting on KPIs for the practice

Candidate must have

· Strong leadership skills

· Dedication to the role

· Good English, numeracy and digital skills

· The ability to think strategically

· Good project management and organisational skills

· Ability to communicate effectively

· Able to provide excellent customer service

· Be caring and empathetic

· Be able to motivate staff into taking ownership of responsibilities
