This half term myself and my two boys, Harry (9) and Elliott (5) enjoyed a Halloween inspired day out at Godstone Farm!
Godstone Farm has been a firm family favourite for families in the area for over 40 years and throughout the years has seen some exciting changes, including the new soft play area which has been named as Surreys largest soft play!

With this in mind my boys jumped at the chance of visiting to see what spooky offerings were in store!  We arrived early as from past experiences there is so much to pack into the day!  As always the friendly and knowledgeable staff were available on arrival to go through the various Halloween events that were being held throughout the farm during half term.

Our first stop was to visit Rosina the Mystical Fortune Teller.  Elliott was mesmerised as Rosina interacted with the audience of children. He even got called onto the stage to look into her magical crystal ball!

We went onto carve pumpkins on the events lawn which was so much fun! Children choose their own pumpkin from a vast selection to carve and create some spooky faces using tools (with their adults supervision)

Next to the pumpkin carving station was the Halloween inspired crazy golf course, which had various parts of the course adorned with skeletons and other spooky items as obstacles for our avid mini golfers.
Elliott even managed to get a hole in one!

We had a break for lunch in the lovely new Courtyard Kitchen which serves really good quality hot and cold meals with indoor and outdoor seating.  However if you are organised enough to bring a packed lunch there is a covered picnic area opposite.

After our lunch we visited the magically adorned craft barn where the witches were there to help your little ones create some creepy crafts!

The very same witches carried out a broomstick flying lesson which the children loved!
This was particularly great for younger ones with lots of giggles and laughter as they were taught the aerodynamics of a flying broomstick!

Amongst all the Halloween fun and adventure we enjoyed the farm and it’s interactive environment.
The farm is home to so many various animals from pigs to reptiles, horses to meerkats.

We particularly love the farm trail in which you can interact with the beautiful and friendly farm animals.

Of course a visit to Godstone Farm wouldn’t be complete without some fun in the new soft play barn, which is Surreys largest softplay.  The boys were in their element!

There really is something for everyone this half term at Godstone Farm.
We can’t wait to visit again!
