HALF TERM FUN @ GODSTONE FARM #REVIEW…
Posted by Hayley Boland on 30 Oct 2024
We love visiting Godstone Farm, being only a 20 minute drive from Epsom its one of our go to places. We were so excited to visit the Farm to experience their Halloween half term activities.

Included in your ticket price is a wide range of activities such as:
Farm trail
Animal interactions
Reptile House
Rabbit Walk
Pond Walk
World of Dinosaur Roar! Discovery trail
Adventure playground with picnic areas and revamped toboggan run
Sandpits
Wilding play, including mud kitchen
Ride on toys
The Play Barn
The Play Barn upper level – new role play area
Wiglet’s Play Village and more.
Being Halloween week there is some spooky extras for the children (and adults) to enjoy. Ava and Hudson (2 and 3) enjoyed the spooky golf (which was included in ticket entry) and toasted marshmallows for a small additional fee. The pumpkin carving tent was busy with children being helped by their adults (this activity had a small fee attached).

We also enjoyed solving the spooky trail puzzle and the kids had fun looking for the crystal balls in return for a small prize at the gift shop. Afterward we headed down to The Venue for a meet and greet with Wiglet, there was also spooky arts and crafts and a brave the wall game where you can bravely dare to place your hand into the unknown, I’ll admit I was far from brave to try!

We stopped off at the courtyard kitchen and had a great lunch however I recommend arriving before 12 or after 1 as tables went quickly. After filling our tums we had fun feeding the Goats and Alpacas, my highlight was seeing Penelope the pig and her 12 piglets. We visited the reptile house and petted a ferret in the animal interactions barn along with a horse and ponies it’s a lovely place to get up close to the animals, stopping by the creepy animal interactions where you could pet snakes and bearded dragons.
My nephew is dinosaur obsessed so the Dinosaur trail was a must to visit with vibrant to scale Diplodocus and T-rex along with several other dinos.

We ended our visit at the indoor play barn which is fantastic for kids of all ages, with a separate area for babies and younger children and an upstairs area for role play and sensory for those needing some time out or a change of scene.
On the way out we enquired about any Christmas events and were excited to be told that on selected dates including SEND dates, Father Christmas will be at Godstone Farm and you can go on a magical journey to visit him in his wish room and participate in Jingle and Jangle’s interactive Christmas Adventure, with festive cookie decortaying and Christmas crafts this will be a Christmas like no other.
Halloween fun continues at the farm until the 3rd November, you can find more information here.
