FUNDRAISING EVENTS FOR THE CHILDRENS TRUST, TADWORTH…

Local charity, The Children’s Trust which is based in Tadworth is the UK’s leading charity which helps children who suffer from brain injury or neurological disabilities.  Their main objective is to help the child rebuild as many of their skills as possible, whilst boosting confidence and self esteem which is essential when relearning skills.

The Children’s Trust provide rehabilitation, education and community services for children, young people and their families that are affected by brain injuries.  Like many charities they rely on fundraising events which are essential for them to provide the vital services they deliver to those in need.

Below are a list of upcoming fundraising events for you and your family to get involved in!

FIREWALK & LEGOWALK:
2nd March
6pm
The Children’s Trust, Tadworth Court, Tadworth, KT20 5RU

The Children’s Trust has teamed up with UK Firewalk to coach you across 15 feet of hot coals!
This is the ultimate fundraiser where attendees are pushed to their limits to raise funds for The Children’s Trust.
Alternatively for children they can push themselves by carrying out a Lego walk!
Registration Fees:
Firewalk: £25 (minimum sponsorship: £100) must be over 18
Legowalk: £10 (minimum sponsorship: £50) must be under 12

SURREY HILLS HIKE 2023:
12th March
Registration: 9.30am-3.30pm
The Children’s Trust, Tadworth Court, Tadworth, KT20 5RU

Choose from the 5 miles or 10 miles hike across the Surrey Hills or alternatively take part in the 1K Your Way route which is ideal for buggies and wheelchairs.
A great way of seeing the Surrey Hills whilst raising money for The Children’s Trust!
All proceeds go directly to The Children’s Trust.

£10 Adults
£5 Children

LONDON LANDMARKS MARATHON 2023
2nd April

Entry is open for this amazing marathon which is a route of 13.1 miles
Unlike the London Marathon the route is almost like a tour of the cultural landmarks of London with some hidden secrets along the way!

£25 plus a pledge to raise over £350 in sponsorship

BRIGHTON MARATHON 2023:
2nd April

Entry is now open for the Brighton marathon!
The infamous event starts at Preston Park and onto Brighton city centre. A great day out for all!

A Children’s Trust T-shirt
Materials to help aid fundraising
Registration Fee:
£25 plus a pledge to raise over £350 in sponsorship

THE CHILDREN’S TRUST LONDON MARATHON:
23rd April

Since 1981 thousands of fundraisers annually meet to run the 26.2 mile route across London.
This year The Children’s Trust have places available on their team and anyone successful in the ballot are welcome to join!
When you register you will receive:
A Children’s Trust T-shirt
Materials to help aid fundraising,
A nutrition and training plan
Registration Fee:
£100 plus a pledge to raise over £2000 in sponsorship.
