FREDDIE MERCURY @ EPSOM SOCIAL #REVIEW…
Posted by Tracey Salmon on 07 Dec 2022
Last Saturday was a brilliant night to remember at Epsom Social, Surrey’s destination to EAT. DRINK and CHILL.
Live music on the night was the “A Vision of Mercury” – a Freddie Mercury Tribute Act fronted by Joseph Lee Jackson who belted out classic such as:
- We are the champions
- I want to break free
- Bohemian rhapsody
- Don’t stop me now
- Another one bites the dust
Whilst we sipped our Pornstar Martinis, tucked into gluten free loaded fries from Venezualan Food and a halloumi wrap from Bey-root, it was great to watch Joseph Lee’s incredible portrayal of Freddie. Straight from the start, it was obvious “Freddie” was enjoying performing while he took us on a journey with his amazing voice. My personal favourite was Bohemian Rhapsody and my friend and I loved singing along and using the props provided. I was hugely impressed that he had mastered his craft so well, if you closed your eyes it would be really hard to tell you were not listening to the real deal, eyes open it was really great to see the effort put into the outfit worn.
The atmosphere on the night was super and it was great to be able to get up and dance or sit and just listen if that is what you wanted to do. Epsom Social has such great ambiance and we can’t wait to go again.
A Vision of Mercury is next playing on Thursday 22nd December at the La Meridianna, Ockham Road South, East Horsley, Leatherhead, KT24 6QU.
