FIVER FOR THE EPSOM AND EWELL FOODBANK…

Last year we ran the FIVER FOR THE FOODBANK campaign alongside All Things Nice in Ewell Village and with the summer holidays looming and a lot of local families struggling we have decided to run it again.

The idea is simple – Fiver for Foodbank will be on Friday 14th July you can either donate 5 items of food (drop off at All Things Nice) or donate £5 but anything helps even if it’s one item or £1 everything helps and is appreciated.

Here’s an example list of products that could be donated:

• Tinned vegetables
• Long-life UHT Milk (semi-skimmed and full-fat only)
• Powdered milk
• Long-life sponge puddings
• Coffee
• Tinned fruit
• Dried noodles
• Biscuits (Savoury and Sweet)
• Long-life fruit juice
• Squash
• Sugar (500g bags ideally)
• Tinned Meat
• Mayonnaise
• Pump soap
• Shaving foam
• Washing powder, pods & tablets (bio & non-bio)
• Shampoo
• Hair conditioner
• Pump soap
• Adult toothbrushes
• Washing up liquid
• Deodorant – female and male
• Female hygiene products
• Nappies sizes 5+, 6 and 6+

If you can’t drop off at All Things Nice on Friday 14th July but would like to contribute, text to donate is already open all you need to do TEXT FOODBANKFRIDAY 5 to 70450.  Alternatively you can donate at the usual supermarket points, or bring donations directly to the foodbank at:

Donation drop off times are Monday to Friday 9am – 2pm donations should always be sealed, in date and not contain alcohol.  Thank you for helping our local community, the foodbank promise to use donations to provide for people in need.  Donations will be shared across Epsom & Ewell Foodbank and the Epsom Pantry. This ensures your donations go to help people who use their services wherever they are.
