What do you do on a hot Summer’s evening? If you’re anything like Dee and me you go and eat hot spicy food at Epsom Social’s newest vendor Uptown Flava.

Did you know?

It’s a little known fact that when your body is exposed to extreme heat, for a long time, your body’s core temperature rises, naturally, which encourages sweating (to bring your temperature back down). This explains why spicy food is popular in hotter regions of the world. It kickstarts the cooling down process (after the initial hit of heat).

Epsom Social is Epsom’s only food hall; and offers a variety of vendors offering a diverse range of delicious street food options. A perfect opportunity to try food from around the world (who needs to travel, right?) and satisfy everybody’s food choices.

And if you are vegan or vegetarian, you can enjoy Curried Plantain or Caramelised Onion Loaf. There are gluten-free options too.

Dee and I loved the Soul Food Bowls (we opted for Jerk Chicken) and Tenders that we tried and Dee loved her Aperol Spritz from the Epsom Social bar to wash it all down, I opted for water 🙂
