FAMILY ACTIVITIES @ THE O2…

I’ve got to that time now where the children are older and it’s harder to find things to do in the holidays that suit all. Whilst my eldest is now 18 I feel it’s still nice to do things as a family (I also have a 16 year old daughter and 11 year old son) and we found just the place in the last holidays so I thought I would share with you all for inspiration for family time this half term or any weekend. We will also be returning!
We visited Toca Social (virtual football) at the O2 and had a super time with everyone getting involved and most importantly no moaning – hoorah!!!
Whilst it’s a bit of a journey on the train it was definitely worth it and as well as Toca Social there are many other activities to do at the O2 if you wanted to get out of Epsom for the day, here’s the lowdown:
TOCA Social brings together interactive football, delicious food and five-star cocktails – it’s a match made in heaven. There is plenty on offer including:

Willy Wonka inspired Dessert Room
Food menu created by a Michelin trained creative chef
A trophy wall, with interactive leaderboard
London’s biggest cinema is set in the world’s favourite arena and hosts a wide variety of high-profile events.
Cineworld at The O2 features a whopping 19 screens including special formats Screen X (with 270-degree surround views), 4DX (with moving seats, scent, water, wind, fog and snow), ViP (with luxury recliners and exclusive bar area) and the breath-taking Superscreen, our largest auditorium in the UK.
Hollywood Bowl boasts 12 pre-bookable state-of-the-art bowling lanes including three VIP lanes. You can also enjoy freshly-made American classics in the Hollywood Diner, and choose from a great range of drinks in the spacious bar. As well as Bowling there is pool and a range of fun-filled amusements.
Oxygen Freejumping has two floors of unlimited fun, the park consists of 9 different zones where there’s something suitable for everyone. As well as the interconnected trampolines, they have dodgeball courts, a mega airbag and foam pits, reaction walls, dodgeball courts, there is also a soft play area, as well as structured sensory play sessions sessions for 0-5 year olds.
iFLY Indoor Skydiving
iFLY Indoor Skydiving has landed at The O2, bringing you the most unforgettable experience. You can enjoy the exact feeling of freefall without a parachute. This facility welcomes everyone, whether you’re a seasoned daredevil or a curious first-timer of any age or ability. You can step out of your comfort zone and embrace the joy of flight in a safe and controlled environment.
BOOM BATTLE BAR
Under 18’s are welcome to Boom Battle Bar until 9pm, this venue is spread over two floors with a selection of games including Shuffleboard, Beer/Prosecco Pong, Axe Throwing, Crazier Golf and more. They also have private Karaoke Rooms filled with props for those that love to sing. If you get peckish or just want to refuel before your next game then you can give the BOOM bites menu a go. Full of delicious street food the whole squad will love.
MAMMA MIA! THE PARTY
Over the course of more than four hours, you can enjoy a spectacular show, a four-course gourmet Mediterranean meal and a fabulous ABBA disco!
Pop along and spend 60 minutes in the funhouse where you are free to float around and take as many photos/videos as you like. There are a series of rooms with several photo opportunities in each to capture school holiday / family moments.
