Creative ink mark-making  – The Horton Club /

13:00 - 15:00

The first session to launch The Horton’s Club for young artists is “Creative Ink Mark-making” on Friday 5th, August.

At The Horton Art Club children and young people will be able to try out new art forms and explore new techniques taught by professional artists.  There are separate sessions for different age groups:

Ages 9-12: 10am-12noon
Ages 12-15: 1-3pm

Experiment with everyday items to create expressive marks and artwork. Use inks and tools to explore, experiment, and manipulate media to create contrasting expressive marks. Students can bring in recycled items for mark-making such as twigs, pine cones, seed pods, toilet roll holder, feather, old toothbrush, bottle lid, bubble wrap or any other items you’d throw away/recycle.
