Towards the end of this month it’s going to begin to look a lot like Christmas in Epsom with all the Christmas lights on events happening, there’s not just one event happening there is three fun family friendly events, dates and details are as follows:

Saturday 23rd November @ The Ashley Centre

Visit The Ashley Centre on Saturday 23 November for a host of festive entertainment, music and the annual Christmas lights switch on extravaganza!

Free entertainment for everyone starts at 12noon with masses of excitement and fun to start the celebrations and get the party going ready for the big switch on at 5pm. This year there will be stilt walkers, comedy, face painters, balloon modellers, roaming entertainers and more.

The lights switch on show will start at 5pm by Café Moka and H&M with stars from the Epsom Playhouse pantomime Peter Pan, Ashley Bear and Father Christmas all making an appearance.

After the show if you would like to meet the cast or Father Christmas they will be greeting everyone by House of Fraser, New Look and The Works.

Wednesday 27th November @ Epsom Square

For the first time Epsom Square are holding a Christmas Lights Switch On as they light up the square for Christmas on Wednesday 27th November.

There will be music and dancing, with food and drink by the local restaurants and bars and Shooting Chase Children’s Charity will be looking after Father Christmas in his Grotto.

There will be something for everyone the fun starts at 5pm with the lights switch on at 7:15pm

Thursday 28th November @ Epsom Market Place

The traditional Epsom Market Place Christmas lights switch on is on Thursday 28th November and will have a fun fair, stage show, Santa’s grotto, festive frolics, mulled wine, hot chocolate and one or two special surprises.  A special raffle in aid of the Epsom & Ewell Foodbank is being organised by Specsavers in Epsom High Street.

The evening stage show line up is as follows:

4pm: Local school choirs and singers entertain us with seasonal songs followed by local dance groups.

7pm: Christmas Lights switch on.

This is all followed by a free evening performance from the fantastic The Take That Experience.
