EPSOM PLAYHOUSE PANTO ANNOUNCEMENT….

Posted by Kalli Pasqualucci on 30 Aug 2024

“A kind-hearted girl mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters. With a little help from her fairy godmother’s magic and a bit of bippity-boppity-boo, she transforms for the royal ball, where she catches the attention of Prince Charming.

But when the clock strikes midnight, the illusion fades, leaving only a single glass slipper behind. This enchanting production is generously dusted with heartwarming moments, tummy-tickling comedy, and glitzy costumes galore.”

I cannot believe that the Summer is almost over and we are now counting down the days to Christmas and the Panto season.

I always love being invited to the launch of the new show, and seeing the characters come to life before me. And this year’s launch did not disappoint. Spillers Pantomimes have created a brand new, never-seen-before, version of Cinderella just for their beloved Epsom audience, and to celebrate 40 years of Epsom Playhouse.

Expect to see some regular Epsom Panto stars, and some new faces too. Gemma Naylor and Titus Rowe play Cinders and Prince Charming, Rikki Stone plays Buttons, Derek Elwood and (Epsom regular) Jamie Bannerman are the ugly sisters, Laura McFall will be the Baroness, Emma Willis-Richards is in charge of all things dancing, and I look forward to being introduced to the rest of the cast at the show, performances are from Friday 13th December to Saturday 4th January 25.

And for those families who need it, there will be a relaxed performance on Friday 3rd January.  “If you need to move around, make some noise, and prefer less intense lighting and sound effects, then this is perfect performance for you!”
