Posted by Devenia Besant on 20 Oct 2024
The festive season is nearly upon us and like many families our calendars are starting to fill with activities. My children are older now (sob sob) so Father Christmas visits are now a thing of the past. That said my children still love to do festive activities in the lead up and one of those has been Ice Skating whether that be at Hampton Court, Battersea or Hyde Park, so I was delighted to be told that Epsom Downs Racecourse had plans of Ice Skating festive activities. This week Epsom on Ice was announced, from Thursday 28th November 2024 – Sunday 5th January 2025 there will be Ice skating fun for the whole family. The age range starts from 3, Children under 10 must always be supervised by an adult on the ice. Adults and children must have tickets. Children 10 – 12 years must be supervised by an adult at the rink/venue.

The skate rink is covered. Skating sessions start at 10am and the last session is at 8pm.
The Ice Rink will be closed on Christmas Day. You can also enjoy skating on Christmas Eve & New Years Eve, however the last skating session will be 4pm on these days.

Peaceful Sessions
These sessions are being held from 10am-10.45am every morning and have reduced capacity, static lights and quieter and calmer music than regular sessions. These are ideal for anyone with specials needs, disabilities and parent with toddlers.
Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) on the rink; adults and children must have tickets. One adult can supervise up to three children.
It’s brilliant to see this is – an inclusive event for everyone to enjoy.

We cannot wait for this.
