EPSOM MARKET DAYS – SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE…
Posted by Francesca De Franco on 03 Mar 2022

Epsom’s outdoor markets have become increasingly popular in the last few years. Lockdowns were somewhat of a catalyst for this, but the other reason is the quality and variety of products they offer.
Alongside the regular Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (includes French stalls from UK-based traders) and Saturday markets, which host a range of stalls selling fresh, local products such as eggs, seasonal fruit and vegetables, fresh bread, butchery and fashions, there are a number of speciality markets throughout the month. These include vegan, antiques, arts and crafts and speciality cuisine. Read on to find out more about each.
Here are the dates of the upcoming markets in March:
- Sunday, 6th March – Farmers Market
- Sunday, 13th March – Taste of the World
- Sunday, 20th March – Antiques & Brocante Market
- Sunday, 27th March – Vegan Market
Farmers Market
The Farmers Market has been a firm fixture on the calendar for over 10 years.
Held on the first Sunday of every month (9:30am to 1:30pm), the market offers competitively priced high-quality products.
You will find a huge array of diverse, artisan and locally produced foods and products including: fresh meats, sausages, poultry, game, eggs, fish, fruit & veg, herbs, freshly baked breads, cheeses, pies, cakes and seasonal plants.

I’m a big fan of Taste of the World markets. There’s always a great buzz and loads of amazing smells (and tastes)! There’s a huge array of global cuisine from Lebanese, Greek, French and Caribbean to Italian, Spanish, Pakistani and Thai with everything in between.
“Treat yourself to a wonderful Sunday continental shopping experience in the heart of town. A great ambiance guaranteed!”
The Taste of the World markets take place 9.30am to 3.30 pm on selected Sundays and Bank Holidays. For the latest details visit the Facebook page here.
Vegan market
The Vegan Market – run by ethical vegan events – takes place in Epsom marketplace every fourth Sunday of the month from 10.30am until 3.30pm.
There’s a wide variety of vegan foods, products and produce and an impressive roster of regular stall holders that you’ll find on the market each month alongside new traders: https://ethicalveganevents.co.uk/market-info/
