EPSOM BEAUMONT CARE HOME, IS MORE THAN A CARE HOME #REVIEW…
Posted by Kat Heath on 07 Feb 2025
Last Friday some of the Epsom & Ewell Families team visited Epsom Beaumont Care Home to find out more about the facilities they offer, meet some of the residents and and find out about their community events.
Our visit coincided with their Fish and Chip Club, an initiative open to the public to enjoy some company and boost wellbeing. Such a lovely way to bring the local community in, the residents can meet new people and vice versa – creating connections! We can also confirm the lunch is absolutely delicious.

At our visit we were welcomed warmly by events coordinator, Louisa Capaldi who is responsible for creating events and activities for the residents at Beaumont. She says:
“I really enjoy getting the residents up and moving, and getting active.
I enjoy learning new things about the residents and doing meaningful activities with them that they enjoy and benefit from.”
With that in mind the care home are now offering a range of events which are open to the public, which bridges the gap between local members of the community and residents within the care home.
Our visit on Friday was a small taster of the many different events which are open to the public.
