EPSOM AND EWELL WARM SPACES FOR THE WINTER

Posted by Kalli Pasqualucci on 13 Nov 2025

As it gets colder outside, you can find warmth in some of the local churches. They’re opening their doors on various days of the week and are inviting the local community to join them for free food, refreshments and activities.

You can find activities on these days and times:

Mondays, 1pm to 7pm: St Barnabas, Epsom

Free hot drinks, soup and a roll, a hot meal, arts and crafts and activities available in the St Barnabas Church and Love Me Love My Mind Warm Welcome Space.

Wednesdays, 9am to 2pm & 3.30pm to 6pm: Epsom Methodist Church

Epsom Methodist Church offers hot drinks, family after school club, hot soup, an evening meal, help with energy bills and a place for friendship and a chat.

Wednesdays, 10am to 1pm: Christ Church, Ewell

Free hot drinks and good biscuits, board games, card games, and puzzles. All ages are welcome. During Winter we have a supply of free items from the council to give to attendees. From October to May, they also offer specially made hot soup and bread.

Thursdays, Midday to 2pm: St Mary’s, Ewell

The lunch club will take place in Ewell Hall, and is open to all. They offer a free simple lunch and chance to get together, chat and play games!

Thursdays, 1pm to 3.30pm: Epsom Baptist Church

Join them for quiche and salad lunch, cakes, tea and coffee, games, jigsaws, free book swaps or simply enjoy some company.

Fridays, 6pm – 8pm: King’s Church, Epsom

A friendly place for the community to gather for free fun, food and refreshments. Refreshments will be available throughout, as well as a free hot meal.

The libraries at Epsom, Ewell, Ewell Court, Stoneleigh and Tattenhams Community are also getting involved. Take your friends and/ or family and visit these local warm spaces.
