EASTER HOLIDAY FUN @ HOBBLEDOWN #REVIEW…

Posted by Louise Scotland on 30 Mar 2024

My son Roman and I hopped over to Hobbledown to enjoy some early Easter celebrations on Good Friday.

I was a little unsure as to whether he would still be interested in Hobbledown as he’s nearly 10 but getting him off Fortnite, out of the house and involved in the activities that Hobbledown have to offer was a great success.

We arrived early around 9am and the weather wasn’t the best so we headed inside to the huge soft play area which was lovely and quiet at that time.  They have lots of refreshments available which we enjoyed post soft play. I had a cappuccino with oat milk and Roman enjoyed a juice.

By this time the weather had cleared up a little so we headed out to try and find the golden Easter egg. There is only one of these hidden within Hobbledown each day while the Easter extravaganza is on. Whoever finds it, gets rewarded with a prize.

On our hunt for the egg, we enjoyed seeing the Easter decorations and all of the animals, some of which were being fed.

The adventure play area is always fun with the zip wire being our favourite. This holds up to 120kg so I got to do it with Roman which he absolutely loved.

We then headed back to the Courtyard Lawn where we met the Easter bunny and joined in with the Easter bunny parade led by Tom who was highly amusing and brilliant with all of the children.

The Egg-Stra Special Easter Celebration runs from 29th March-14th April 2024.

Some of the activities are weather dependent so be sure to check with the helpful staff if something hasn’t started on time. Hobbledown also have a rainy day policy.
